REDEP internship projects
The REDEP study
is a large multicenter RCT investigating the effectiveness of the dual-mobility cup in preventing dislocation after total hip replacement, compared to a standard hip cup in patients over 70 years of age.
The inclusion phase of this study has been completed and the last patient underwent surgery this spring. The first (short-term) results are therefore already available.
Available internship projects:
1. Additional analyses based on the win ratio. The win ratio is relatively new within orthopedics, and we are working closely with researchers in Canada and the US on this. It therefore requires a lot of pioneering, solution-oriented, and creative thinking.
