EAGLE internship projects
The EAGLE is a completed study into the effectiveness of a hip prosthesis versus non-surgical treatment on hip function after 3 months.

The results of this study have already been published. The projects therefore do not involve patient-related research, which has the advantage that you are in complete control (no delays due to administrative processes or data collection). You can participate in other projects at the same time in order to have real contact with patients who are participating or will participate in research. See the research projects section on this site for an overview of our current studies.

Available internship projects:

1. Creating a meta-analysis. The principal investigator has already had ChatGPT create such a meta-analysis. The plan is to compare this with our ‘own’ meta-analysis and possibly other AI tools (Gemini/copolit).
This means it is not patient-related research, which has the advantage that you are in complete control (no delays due to administrative processes or data collection). You can simultaneously participate in other projects to have real contact with patients who are (or will be) participating in research.

Are you interested? Send your motivation letter, CV, a writing sample (e.g., BSc thesis), your availability, and which project you are interested in to jointresearch@olvg.nl.
