HAKA internship projects
The HAKA study is a large national study comparing the effectiveness of routine checkups with checkups on demand 1 and 10 years after receiving a hip or knee prosthesis.

As an intern, you can support the PhD candidate in this national study at several participating centers. You can help recruit patients for both the 10-year follow-up and the 1-year follow-up. You will also use CTcue software for data collection for the internship project.

Available internship projects

1. The effect of a flyer with instructions for patients without routine checkups at 3 months. Read more about this project and the HAKA study in general here

2. Attendance and findings at the 10-year checkup after hip or knee replacement surgery. This project could potentially be combined with a survey among surgeons: 'What would you do based on this X-ray?'
